If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact us. We are happy to speak with you and help answer any questions you may have!

General Questions

Are there any restrictions I should know of before skydiving?

Yes, all participants must:

  • be at least 18 years of age (regardless of parental consent) with a photo ID
  • not weigh more than 240lbs

We do not have restrictions on age. We often host guests who are in their 70s and 80s, but treat individuals on a case by case basis based on strength and flexibility.

Booking Requirements

What is required to make a booking?

We require a $50 deposit at the time of booking. The balance of your jump is paid upon arrival. Please note, all guests must weigh less than 240lbs and be at least 18 years of age.

^

Why do you offer different altitude packages?

We offer multiple altitude packages to fit different budgetary restraints. In the skydiving world, higher is always deemed as 'better' because it allows for longer times in free fall. However, the thrill of making a skydive is no less exciting at 8,000 feet than at 13,000 feet.

We think everyone should be able to jump if they really wish to do so!

Tandem Skydiving

How long does the free fall last?

Length of time in free fall depends on the altitude package you purchase (8,000, 10,000 or 13,000 feet). Free fall time will be between 25 seconds and 1 minute dependent on the package.

^

Can you breathe in free fall?

Yes, you can breathe in free fall, however our views may take your breath away!

^

How fast is free fall?

You'll be falling at terminal velocity - approximately 120mph!

^

What does skydiving feel like?

It's not what you think! You won't feel as if you're falling and you won't experience that 'stomach drop' that you often feel on the descent of a roller coaster. You'll feel like you're floating or even flying! It's a wonderful experience and is why you see people smiling in their photos instead of screaming.

Also, you won't feel the sensation of ground rush, so it's a comfortable feeling!

^

Are the landings hard?

Landings can vary depending on the wind conditions, but are usually softer than jumping from a chair. Instructors will make the determination of whether to stand up or slide in for a landing based on the conditions.

^

What should I wear?

Plan to dress accordingly for the temperature on the ground. If it's a bit chilly or even cold, plan to wear layered clothing that's not too bulky.

Please wear tennis shoes or sneakers. Flip flops or open toe shoes will not be permitted. Boots aren't recommended.

^

Is Skydiving Scary?

Like most things, we're afraid of the unkown and there's usually a bit of anxiety when it comes to jumping from a 'perfectly good airplane.' The process of getting to make a skydive leaves many feeling scared, but few ever feel scared when actually jumping. It's comfortable feeling and is more exhilarating than scary!

^

Should I leave a gratuity for my instructor?

Gratuities are not expected, but always appreciated. If you feel your instructor exceeded your expectations, a tip is always well received.

^

How experienced are your instructors?

All of our instructors are certified by the United States Parachute Association (USPA) and by the gear manufacturer that makes our tandem skydiving equipment.

^

How are you different than other skydiving operations?

Our major points of difference are:

  • Aircraft. We fly the best, most well maintained aircraft in the business. The kind of jump plane you exit from greatly effects the experience. Our Cessna 206 is spacious and comfortably flies you to 13,000 feet.
  • Experience - Our owner has been in the skydiving industry for over 20 years. He hires only the best!
  • View - Skydiving over the Central Coast wine country around Paso Robles is hard to beat! The views are spectacular!

^

What are your skydiving prices?

Our skydiving prices can be found on our info and rates page. Pricing is dependent on the altitude package you purchase.

Presently, our pricing is:

8,000 feet - $169.00

10,000 feet - $199.00

13,000 feet - $249.00

^

Should I get video or photos of my skydive?

This is an added option and is highly recommended. If our guests ever express any disappointment, it's because they did not get either photos or video.

Skydiving is much more than you think it is. This isn't a roller coaster ride. For many it's a life changing experience. To have photos of your experience is completely worth it.

Not to mention your social media will explode when people see your amazing pictures!!!!!!
